Connor is one of our student placements, he currently attends Huddersfield University where he is studying Games Development (Art) and will be with us for a year. He has been learning 3D modelling techniques as part of his course in particular 3D design for Archviz projects, a field he is passionate about.
His passion for 3D began in college, where he chose to study a games design course. After that ended he decided to continue his education at university again taking on a Games Development course. Throughout his academic journey, Connor has been building his skills in game design, 3D modelling and animation, using software such as 3DS, Unity, Substance Painter and Photoshop.
He has been exploring the world of Virtual Reality and Augmented Reality and developed a keen interest in these fields.
Connor understands the importance of gaining practical experience in the workplace, which is why he is excited to have joined the team at 3DW which will guide him through the next year. He believes that a work placement will help him gain more knowledge about the industry and will allow him to better understand how different roles and functions work together in a workplace. Connor is eager to apply his skills and knowledge to help 3DW create high-quality projects for our clients.
We’re looking forward to seeing Connor’s development over his work placement and seeing the fruits of his labour.
